Hello all,
Is there a way to create a (very) lite installer.
This what i have in mind. I have the "full" installer package (as exe or msi) on the server. The installer people download is as small as possible. When it runs it does download the real package from the URL and installs it.
I know I can kind of do it with prerequisites, but this is not transparent as would like it to be. I have to create some dummy installer that does put at least one file some place, than I get this prerequisites dialog, which might scare a user, and finally it seemed not to work with an exe (but I dropped my test at that point anyway).
So, is there a way to make a package like that with AA? If not, do you know of a package that will do a good delivery job for and installer created with AA?
